The Virtual Stadium project was a collaboration with MLB that was built in around 8 weeks. It was also the first project the studio had built in UE5 and was fairly ambitious with new technology and pipelines because of this.
My responsibilities included
Art ownership
Asset outsourcing pipeline definition
Set up of new UE5 pipelines and best practices around Nanite, UVless smart materials. Lumen and LevelInstances & PackedLevelActors
Time of day lighting system
Hands on environment artwork for construction of the internal stadium. This had massive reuse and some tricky angles
Hands on asset artwork for a substantial amount of internal stadium pieces
Procedural texturing and master materials
Customisable branding and decal systems
Character randomisation and rudimentary customisation system
